Please note that reservations for camping at the Governor James B. Hunt Horse Complex can only be made by participants of events promoted at this venue. If you are planning to camp with us, it is imperative that you are registered as a participant in one of the events hosted here.

To facilitate your reservation process, group codes for campsite bookings can be obtained through the event promoter. These group codes are necessary to secure your camping spot and ensure a smooth and seamless experience during your stay.

Temporary Payment Update – Horse Complex Camping Reservations

To protect our guests’ payment security, campground reservations are currently being accepted without an online deposit.

Payment will be securely collected in person at check-in using approved Fairgrounds payment systems.

This is a temporary measure while our payment processor completes a security review. Online reservations remain open and unchanged otherwise.

We appreciate your patience as we prioritize the security and integrity of our guests’ information.

Camping rates are now $45 per night for all reservations with arrival dates on or after January 1, 2026.
