Flat Rock Ranch is known to many as the best Mountain Biking trails in the state of Texas! Located outside the small town of Comfort, a 45 minute drive NW of San Antonio, Flat Rock Ranch has over 30 miles of single track, including Cross Country, Gravel Flow, and the original Texas Style Enduro! We are not open to the general public*. Flat Rock Ranch is private property, our trails designed for use by Mountain Biking only, with an exception for trail running. *WE ARE HOWEVER, MAKING AN EXCEPTION FOR THE 2024 SOLAR ECLIPSE. Helmets must be worn at all time. NO DOGS.
Driving Directions
From Comfort, head East on 473. Drive 1.5 miles and turn Left on Flat Rock Creek Road. Follow road 5 miles to the end of the pavement. Open gate at the entrance to Flat Rock Ranch, drive through, close gate behind you. Follow gravel road slight left, red office building will be to the your left, dirt parking lot on the right. Check in at office (if open on the weekend). Or park, then self check in at box under shed (through small green gate to the right of red office).
