Property Description

Kenai River Float-n-Fish Campground is a small, parking lot style campground located next to the Sterling Hwy in Cooper Landing, AK. We have 12 campsites for RV's or tents and 2 sites for tents/truck campers/campervans. The campground is dry camping (no hookups) with a portapotty and dumpster. New for 2025- 2 sites have 50/30/20A power hookups.

Driving Directions

Getting Here: The address of Kenai River Float-n-Fish Campground is 16826 Sterling Highway, Cooper Landing, AK. 99572. This is located at about mile 49.9 of the Sterling Hwy, right next door to Alaska Rivers Company. It is not at the same location as our charter office, so if you get there you'll need to go about another 1.4 miles further toward Soldotna to get to the campground (coming from Anchorage).

Welcome to our nothing fancy,
low expectations, 

last resort, cheap, and dirty family campground. 

This is mostly dry camping.

No river access, just a couple Hookups, No Water, No Shower, No laundry. 
There is a portapotty, a dumpster, wifi, and plenty of highway noise.

Online reservations are available until 12pm on check-in day. After 12pm, reservations are first come first served (in person).
