Spindle Hill Farm
Property Description
Spindle Hill is a small homestead in Nelson County, Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The farm dates to the late nineteenth century, and is in the South Rockfish Valley Agricultural Historical District, the only rural historical district in the state of Virginia. Sitting about 500 feet above the valley, the farm is bio-dynamically farmed, and we raise chickens, goats, flowers, and fruit and vegetables for our family and community. You can walk from the farm to our wonderful neighborhood walking trails, a 5+ mile loop system that follows the local creeks and Rockfish River. We are a very short walk to Devil's Backbone Brewery and Bold Rock Brewery, and an 8 minute drive to the entrance of Wintergreen Resort and the Appalachian Trail.
