Nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain, in almost 45 acres of woods and beach, lies one of Burlington’s hidden treasures — North Beach Campground — an urban campground with a decidedly rural character. There are 137 great sites to either pitch your tent or park your RV or trailer. With its premier municipal natural sand beach, shaded campsites and picnic grounds, North Beach offers an incomparable camping experience for any individuals wishing to camp in Vermont. The campground is open May 1 – October 15.
Driving Directions
From I-89 South bound (from Montreal) get off on exit 14W. For I-89 North bound (from Montpelier) get off on exit 14E. From here directions are the same. Continue west on Main st until the light on Battey street. turn right onto Battery street continue in that direction, Battery street will turn into North Ave. At the stop light at Institute Rd turn left. drive all the way down Institute Rd until you see the check in parking for the campground.
